Air Conditioning Installation

Your contractor or installation service provider should be affiliated to A.M.C.A (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association Australia) or to R.A.C.C.A (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association). These kinds of associations have national standards of service and they only grant membership after a stringent check on the quality of service offered.

While talking to a new air conditioning service provider on the phone, casually enquire whether the company is affiliated to these associations. If their answer is yes, you can assume that they will maintain a reasonable standard of service.

Verify the number of certified technicians the company has for service delivery and installation. Added certifications are required for handling gas pipes or other potentially dangerous equipment apart from normal AC repairs. Back check their certification and registration numbers from the Department of Consumer Affairs. Check out

A good service provider should be able to provide valid proof of their experience. Ask them about their previous client list and any big commercial air con project that they might have handled.

Other Business Services

Ask for proof of their indemnity or insurance coverage. Make sure that the insurance covers properties of their clients and the safety of their workers. Check whether the insurance papers are updated and valid. Remember, no insurance would mean that you could be sued for damages to workers if an accident happens on your property.

Commercial air conditioning service providers should have legal access to compulsory state and federal authorizations before commencing work. They should also be in a position to process the acquisition of permits if required.
